She started her career in 1981 at Radio Cameroon as a reporter at the News Department in Yaoundé and Douala, after finishing her studies in the International School of Journalism of Yaoundé. Years later, in 1985, became the first presenter of the 20:30 Cameroon Radio Television Newspaper. In addition to her role as presenter of the CRTV  newspaper, she occupied successively until 1993 the positions of chief editor, then editor-in-chief.

The Panafrican Broadcasting Heritage and Achievement Awards awarded her with the prize of the best journalist in 2001, and in 2013 and 2014, Forbes Africa magazine ranked her among the 100 most influential women on the continent. In 2017, the New African magazine raked her among the 100 most influential personalities of the African continent.
