Joannie BEWA is a medical doctor, a public health and public policy specialist, a philanthropist and a bilingual moderator and communication expert with extensive experience in moderating workshops, panels and high-level conferences around the globe. She has hosted events for UNFPA, Oxfam, IVCO and other private companies and was a speaker on several panels led by governments and foundations, including the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Canadian Government, UN Women and the Africa Union Commission.
